Who should I call if I was frauded?
I got an email from a guy telling me that he was selling 4 NIB Nintendo Wii’s. I accepted and he told me i would be getting an invoice from yahoo with payment and Seller information. I then followed the steps in the invoice from yahoo(later i found out it was a fake email). I sent him my money and he picked it up. Then he sent me email stating I had to pay him another $240 dollars in shipping. So I declined and told him to refund me and he ceased communications with me. So I was wondering who should i get in contact with to get my money back?
The seller is not in the country
If any part of the transaction when through the US Post office, file a report with your local sheriff’s office and then take the case number to the postal inspector. Don’t count on getting your money back.
